Animate Shibuya: A Must-Visit for Anime Merchandise in Tokyo

Located in the heart of Shibuya, Animate Shibuya offers a wide variety of official merchandise from popular Weekly Shonen Jump series such as One Piece, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, and more. Fans of One Piece will find a great selection of One Piece merch, including figures, shirts, and collectibles featuring iconic characters like Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Nami.

Compared to other Animate stores, Animate Shibuya features a smaller collection of doujinshi (fan-made comics) and Japanese manga. The store is compact but well-organized, making it easy for visitors to navigate and explore. While the space may be smaller, the selection of popular anime merchandise is impressive.

If you're seeking rare or niche items, consider visiting Mandarake in the basement, which offers rare and used anime goods. Overall, Animate Shibuya is a great stop for anime fans looking for official One Piece and other anime merchandise.

Animate Shibuya is located about a 10-minute walk from the station, and the route to the store can be a bit confusing, so it's recommended to use a map app for directions. On your way to Animate Shibuya, you'll also come across the Pokémon Center, the MUGIWARA STORE (official One Piece shop), and JUMP SHOP. When visiting Shibuya, it can be enjoyable to explore these shops along with Animate Shibuya. While Animate Shibuya may have fewer foreign tourists, the store is relatively small, and it's usually crowded with young Japanese women, which can make it a bit challenging to navigate and see the products. The store tends to be less crowded during weekdays in the daytime.
