Animate Kawasaki is located inside the commercial building Muza Kawasaki, about a 5-minute walk from the west exit of JR Kawasaki Station. To get to Muza Kawasaki, you can follow the pedestrian bridge from Kawasaki Station, which leads directly there. This Animate is one of the few stores in Kanagawa Prefecture that deals with anime goods, with its customer base primarily consisting of local youths, especially female students. Compared to Animate stores in Tokyo or Animate Yokohama, the store's floor space is smaller, catering mainly to Japanese anime fans. If you have a moderate understanding of Japanese and are looking for Japanese manga, visiting this store would be a good idea. However, if you're looking to purchase character goods from well-known anime series, it's advisable to visit other larger Animate stores.
